Concepción Valdez, is a currently first year Ph.D. student at Computer Science Department, CICESE. Her research interests include HCI, Ubicomp, Body Perception, Interactive sonification, and Auditory Interfaces. I have a background in Software Engineering and Computer Science, in the area of Human-Computer Interaction Design and Mobile Computing. With a specific focus on Auditory Interfaces. My research focuses on the development of Sonified NUIs to change body perception. I evaluate how music and sounds can “trick the brain” into changing the image and perception of the body (e.g. The ascending pitch variation makes people feel more flexible).

When I’m not working, i watch TV series, movies, playing video games. Also, I love listen K-pop (I’m secretly an army {yoonmin-biased} haha) and watch K-dramas.

Hello! I simply wish to offer you a big thumbs up for the excellent information you have here on this post. I am coming back to your web site for more soon.
May I just say what a comfort to uncover an individual who truly understands what they are talking about on the internet. You definitely realize how to bring an issue to light and make it important. More and more people have to read this and understand this side of the story. I was surprised that you are not more popular since you certainly possess the gift.
Itís difficult to find well-informed people in this particular topic, but you seem like you know what youíre talking about! Thanks
